Oh, boy. My third year in Ateneo is about to start in 2 days, and I cannot get over the fact that I only have 3 years left. (Yes, I have a 5-year course which adds up to many fun memories with my new friends). And after a mere 2 years, I finally am clear about my goals when I graduate in Ateneo. I wish to become more active in my favorite college organization ENTABLADO (ENterteynment para sa TAo, Bayan, LAnsangan at DiyOs), the premier socio-political theater organization in Ateneo. Let me give you a brief history of my stay.
It all started when I watched a "required play" in my Filipino subject. And at that time, I have only watched 1 actual theater play, and I don't have any idea about theater acting at all. We were required to watch "Tarong: Tatlong Dula ng Pagtawid". And so I was amazed on how wonderful a theater really is. That was the time I promised myself to join a theater group... which did not happen until the next year.
After around 5 months, I decided to audition for Bare, a musical. What an ambitious man I was that I really craving for the main roal. I happened to get to the second round of the audition. Dancing was the reason they didn't accept me. That was the time I swore I won't try musicals any longer.
2 months after, I watched a musical "Unang Baboy Sa Langit". And to be fair, I found it entertaining though some of my friends found it not. They were just after the Baboy shirts.
I still waited for months trying to forget the very first audition I had with Bare. When I had the chance to join ENTABLADO, I definitely did. Of course, almost everyone gets accepted, but I felt very happen that I actually belong in a theater group. After joining the group, I decided to audition for their plays, and luckily I've been a part of their 2 latest plays!

And now, I really do hope that I can still act for the next years. It would be a great challenge for me, and it is where I feel very comfortable.
