G'bye April '08

So, in about 5 hours, it will be May 2008. God! One more month before summer ends! Guys, I'm really bored to death. And I don't do anything besides using this laptop, and blogging and surfing and chatting! I need something to be done. But anyway, our REUNION is confirmed and it will be on May 11! Excited! :D Just can't wait!

For today, I looked for some fonts in dafont for making a new blog banner for our class blog. I know the former banner was young and fresh, but I'm really excited for making a new one! Well, I'm not really good in designing stuffs and I've been using PhotoDraw since ages and I don't know when will I learn PS! The banner looks great because of the fonts themselves, not because I made them! Anyway, here is the former banner that features our coming up college lives:

Whether I like it or not, school life doesn't end here yet. And we have to study again sooner because college is coming. And since I'll be having my CEP this May, my parents try to let me self-study at times. My Mom even asked me why don't I sit-in a class in one of the universities here where she once taught.

I've been studying College Algebra for 2 days now. Some topics are very familiar to me, but some I just can't understand. My dad plans to teach me since he became a college professor way back.

This one at the top is College Algebra by Sparks... and god, it makes my nose bleed. But anyway, it contains a lot of information.

some lovey dovey stuff

Well, hello there! My Mom just arrived from somewhere North. And since then, she kept on saying something to me, that she just bought me something that I like. And, I really had no idea! And just guess what. She bought a portable TV and DVD player in Lucena! It's also an MP3 player, MP4, USB compatible and many stuffs that I don't understand. Woohoo. She said I may/might bring this to Manila when college starts!

Whew! We found ABS-CBN, a channel network here in the Philippines. Mwahahahaha! Since TVs are not allowed in the dorm, maybe I can use this! :P

Another weird dreams

Today, I had two dreams...

In the first dream, I saw my classmates way back in elementary. I don't know why. I haven't even talked with them since we graduated in grade 6; some of them though. I was in my room, and suddenly they came into our main house. And then, I asked them. One of the girls said that since they have to do some projects near our house, they decided to visit me. Cool, eh? And they they went to one of the rooms and spent the afternoon there. Together with me in the house that time were my aunt, uncle, cousin and grandmother. Weird, eh? You see, my grandma haven't slept there not even once!

In my second dream, I was with my family in a big hotel. It was like Mom's going to attend an affair, and we were with her. With have just arrived, and we took an elevator. The elevator was really bad... The label of the buttons kept on changing - magical! And then it moves not only up- or downwards. It also moved sidewards!!! Hmmm! It looks really like one of the Order scenes in HP! Really!

That was it. I really liked the second one!!! =D

A Walk To Remember

Photography day

Since I didn't have anything to do today, I was a bit bored this afternoon, and tried using my Nokia 5610 in taking pictures. I'm not really aware of and I'm not exploring its auto-focus capability until today. I studied it and came up with beautiful shots concerning little things or obejects that I could find inside the office room in our house. Here's a sample:

My Mom bought this somewhere in Baguio or Bacolod I think, well, I forgot the exact location. This is a native musical instrument that you use only with your hands. Just hold on its end, and bang it with your other hand. It'll create a weird sound just like the different instruments I have heard from the native people.

Yay... I blogged again. I thought I won't be able to continue this blog again! Anyway, there's nothing much happening to me for this past days... My Mom's in Manila and there's no upcoming events! God!

Anyway, I spend my time this days by taking pictures and studying College Algebra... of course, watching at YouTube! :D

The 4218 Day

I'm still mesmerized by the words Ken showed me in one of his friend's Multiply page. How come I cannot comprehend any of his words? It seems that I have learned nothing through my high school years. Whenever I talk with them (with Ken and the others), I can't think of any words to say. Is it with my learning that I can't express much of my thoughts.

My Mom told that when she was in her high school days, she experienced being speechless whenever she's with her friends. She said... "what would you expect with a graduate of a school in barrio?"... sort of like that. For me, she states that it is normal for me... trying to cope with my friends' so-called vocabulary. But she also argued that I have a different situation. My parents put me in a good school, the best school - in Bicol, so far. She said I should not let it happen, sort of like that. I must know how to "conversate" with them - is there such a word!? - neh!

Anyway, I guess they're right. The solution is within me that I cannot let out. Maybe, I have a low self-esteem. But as far as I know, I have been tough with all the problems I had in high school. I didn't know what was the problem. Didn't I study well in English? Should I have joined a club or something else? I just can't get it?

Oops...

I'm getting far from the title of the post. :D

The day was fine, typical but not boring. I started the day meeting with Arcci at McDonald's and we waited for some of our 4218 friends, who did not show up! Impressive!!! :D

Since we were fixed and Arcci and I have no idea where we were going, we agreed on going to Ken's place and get him there and throw him to Ateneo! :D And then, three of us went to the Ateneo and they sorted their stuffs. Arcci met up with Ma'am Buban and Ken haven't seen her. Poor! :D And then, Ken had to go to the Principal's Office... And me? I have no reason of going there because I thought it would be a great 4218 Day! :D

After going to Ateneo, we went downtown to have a lunch. But the day ended when we went here (here! in our home!) and watched first episodes of Heroes. I haven't known Ken rarely watches Heroes, but he did watch an episode of the first season. He got totally addicted and hooked, so he borrowed my Heroes Season 1 DVD.

And then, I am here, making some disturbing rants that will make some of them (?) disturbed, too. :D

Grand anyway... though there wasn't any LEGAL 4218 DAY, I like to say that I do miss every single 218 students - my classmates! I do! Promise! Nostalgia!!! (Uy, I use it once again!)

A toilet and a piglet

Today, I had one of the weirdest dreams... and again, with Chiara! We were in a toilet room and while I was using the toilet, a piglet just came out of it. And I let Chiara see it. I asked her if I should flush it, but she said no (concerned for the pig). The water (with urine?) was about to be gone in the toilet, and the piglet jumped to Chiara. And she panicks and shouts everywhere, went out from the room because she holds the piglet!!!

Weird!

4218 Day!

Yey!

Today is the great 4.21.08 day! It's the great day of our fourth year class today! And I wish we'll have a small reunion today. Cci texted me, and she wants me to go to McDo this morning. I said I'll go but I wish there'll be more of us! :D

CEP

Well, tomorrow, my sister will register me for CEP. The CEP exam will be on May 14 but the deadline for registration is on April 25 on Friday! I wish I can see Merce, Chy and Ken during the exam!

Urgh!

Well, kung kahapon, buong araw walang kuryente, ngayon naman, I'm having a runny nose. And once I get a runny nose, I usually go ballistic. And sometimes, you can see me like crying in a corner! :D

I think I had a runny nose when I slept the whole afternoon yesterday, while there was no electricity! :D

Anyways, this is my rant for the day!

The Great Day!

On Monday is APRIL 21, 2008! The day my classmates, or some of them, have been waiting for. It's the day of our class - ang nakatakda! On Monday, the date will be 4.21.08. And as you must obviously see, our section is 4218. And I really wish there will be a reunion - be it a swimming, or a lunch downtown, anything! :D

Please!!! Kenneth and Ma'am Asther are currently talking about it... I wish! :D

At last... again

The electricity was gone for, like, 8 hours for today in the whole NAGA!... Again! For the second times this month. My god!

Anyway, I spend the day reading the school papers and stuff, and of course, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I also slept the whole afternoon at our lanai. My discovered it was very windy there during after-lunch to sunset!

Well, a hot day it was!

A Dedicated Label

As you can see at the right side of my blog, there's this dedicated label for Harry Potter. That only shows how fanatic I am with Harry Potter stuffs. Some grammar rants

I was, you know, surprised when I read a reply in a YouTube video. I was just thinking what was the age of that girl/boy. I'm just surprised that, you know, we study these things at school. But I just don't get it why most of "them" don't know anything about these. Oh, I'm not telling you guys that I'm very good in English... but I want to say or ask is that, what is happening? Who teaches them, etc...?

Anyway, simple rants as of now! :D No big deal! :D

Dorm updates

So, my classmate is now accepted in our future dorm, while I... am not yet. Someone they know told them that she was just accepted. But I don't know how I will know if I'm accepted. Oh, I'm still worried. But anyway, about school... I'm very, very excited - as in my excitement kills. It's like unexplainable through words, just like when I was about to begin my high school, but well, college is totally different!

EXCITED still!!! :D

Update on Boredom

Funny thing at this time is that I frequently report about my boredom! :D This morning, I'm still watching a webisode in YouTube and it works - killing boredom. But anyway, my Mom left and went to my aunt's house - and I'm again all alone in this place. Currently, I'm editing some stuffs in our LG blog, that's why I decided to make a short blog post in this blog of mine. If you care to visit our blog, try now. Dorm partially OK

Thank God my Mom already mailed the application form for my future dorm. :D I was really worried by this for the past days because it's in a first-come-first-serve basis. Anyway, it's done! No need to worry. All I need to think is whether I will be accepted. Hmmm...

Today, my Mom and I planned when will we go to Manila to do school stuffs. I suggested that we go there this week but she said she's very busy at the moment. And maybe we will go to Manila when Dad arrives by the first week of May.

We decided that I will take CEP that's why we really need to plan so that we can maximize things when we're in Manila. So that's it. I plan to take Ma11, since it's the only subject I think I can manage. And Merce's gonna take it, too. Yey!

So I'm here, making a blog entry again because it's my free time, and Mom's not around. She went with her high school classmates at the Lolo's Bar. And me, trying to watch TV and YouTube videos! :D
